VINTAGE SURF T-SHIRTS

Vintage surf tees from the 90s were printed on heavier cotton — 6 to 7 oz per square yard compared to the 4.5 oz standard today. The screen prints were thicker, the colors were mixed specifically for each run, and the graphics were designed by people who actually lived the culture. A vintage Quiksilver tee from 1994 has more visual personality than an entire season of modern surf product.
